Maintenance Minder

Most Honda vehicles 2006 and later are equipped with a maintenance minder that will show service due in an alpha numeric form. Vehicles not equipped with the maintenance minder should follow the owner's manual or the mile interval service recommended by the dealer..

A1 - Honda Required When A Service Message Appears
  • Change engine oil and filter — reset Maintenance Minder
  • Multi-point inspection
  • Tire rotation with brake inspection
B1 - Honda Required When B Service Message Appears
  • Change engine oil and filter – reset Maintenance Minder
  • Multi-point inspection
  • Rotate tires, check tire inflation and condition
  • Inspect front and rear brakes
  • Inspect parking brake adjustment
  • Inspect tie-rods, steering gearbox, and gearbox boots
  • Inspect front and rear suspension components
  • Inspect driveshaft boots
  • Inspect brake hoses and lines including VSA/ABS
  • Service and fill all fluids levels
  • Inspect exhaust system Inspect fuel lines and connections

  • Rotate tires
  • Check tire inflation and condition
2 - Honda Required When #2 Service Message Appears
  • Repair air cleaner element
  • Replace HEPA filter(s)
  • Inspect drive belts
3 - Honda Required When #3 Service Message Appears
  • Replace manual transmission fluid
  • Replace automatic transmission fluid
4 - Honda Required When #4 Service Message Appears
  • Replace spark plugs
  • Inspect valve clearance
  • Replace timing belt
